Interpretation

Interpretation can be done in many situations, especially regarding Family Services matters. However, some situations
will not allow AACCESS-Ohio to interpret. There should be another interpreter available, though. For example, the
Cuyahoga County Court System will provide an interpreter for the client. An employee of AACCESS will not be allowed to
enter the court room. Interpreting for phone calls may also be restricted, depending on individual companies or
organizations. As another example, on the phone with Medicare prescription drug plan companies, an interpreter can be
provided. There are laws restricting the release of personal information, therefore community centers are not allowed to
interpret for their clients in some situations.

Interpretation can be done for legal matters, social assitance, resolution of problems with schools, community affairs,
immigration, and welfare. If you are in need of our service, please contact us.
