English as a Second Language Many immigrants who arrive in the United States have a limited, if any, knowledge of the English language. This disadvantage makes it difficult for immigrants to interact comfortably with their neighbors. AACCESS-Ohio's ESL and Citizenship classes offers these immigrants the chance to learn the English language and to learn about their new home.
